Account Group

Account group is used to map a set of account ledgers in one group. So, we can easily get a list of same type account ledgers.

We provide all possible account groups in the still you want to create a new account group then you can create it.

Note: In multiple Account Groups with same names are not acceptable.

 

To Create Account Group

  1. From the main Menu, click Finance Master > Ledger Group

  2. Enter account group Name (e.g. Branch A/C, Assets etc).
  3. Whether this account group has any Sub Group or not.
  4. Enter Major Group Code for account group.
  5. Select Status as Active (If Status is Inactive then account group would not be available in account group dropdown of the account ledger form).
  6. Click on Save button.

 

After creation of account group user would be able to change any detail of the account group through these steps

 

To Modify Account Group Details.

  1. From the main Menu, click Finance master > Ledger Group.
  2. Click on Search button.

  3. Enter Account Group Name in the search box.
  4. Select Account Group from grid list.

  5. Modify Account Group Details in form.
  6. Select Status as Active (If Status is Inactive then account group would not be available in account group dropdown of the account ledger form).
  7. Click on Save button.
